Greg S. Brown II

Greg Brown has a passion for his community and public service. He is a lifelong resident and a sixth-generation Santa Rosan. Greg began his work serving in various capacities for several elected officials, including former U.S. Senator Mel Martinez, Congressman Jeff Miller, and Florida Senators Durell Peaden & Greg Evers. 

In 2013, he joined the Escambia County Property Appraiser’s Office and gained valuable experience, with numerous responsibilities in both Residential and Commercial valuations. Before being elected Santa Rosa County Property Appraiser in 2020. 

Greg holds numerous designations, including a Certified Florida Appraiser from the Florida Department of Revenue, a member of the International Association of Assessing Officers, a Practicing Affiliate of the Appraisal Institute, a member of the Property Appraisers’ Association of Florida’s Legislative Committee, and holds a Florida Real Estate License. 

Greg previously was a small business owner. He serves on the Pace Athletic and Recreation Association Board of Directors, and the Santa Rosa County School District Advisory Council, and is active in various other capacities in his community. His wife, Jennifer, is a Santa Rosa County school teacher and they have two children, Reagan, and Lincoln.
